Tracks #29 and #30, Volume 1

Here's something to crank up your weekend party.

Two rockin' riffs and favorites from back in the oRiGiNaL Live 105 days with Steve, Big Rick, 'Ham', Moe, Spud and Gabby Medecki @ the old West Ed Harrison Bldg.

'Still nurse this sad disappointment out about how the band never got to work things out. Justine in Colorado; Donna, finding religion and back in Devon; Annie Holland and Justin are the only ones still rockin' and who came out mildy ok throughout all this.

'Hope you enjoy and remember these Live 105 classics:

and again---

Don't Drink and Drive... be safe out there!

Track #28, Volume 1

'Still Asia dreaming, I guess. Over 2 months removed from my last jaunt to Asia, I find myself staring at this exquisite Thai painting; missing those exotic and peaceful getaway places, making it still pretty fresh and vivid in my mind. These things happen, I guess. Especially when you're sipping on a tall, cold glass of Singha beer paired with the most excellent plate of Ped Tod from Thep Phanom, the best crispy duck preparation IMHO, in the Bay Area.

Also, I got a message from a good friend today. Catching up is never complete, unless its shared over some good beer, great food and even more, excellent company. I'm shooting out this video to start off her weekend (and ours) with a classic from the Thin White Duke----Sir David Robert Hayward-Jones, aka Ziggy Stardust. Here's David Bowie with---

I can still hear Casey Kasem's voice, closing out his set with this song and saying: "Well, there you have it DGall, an on-air dedication from your hometown, SF, remembering those late '80s nights of carefree fun & frolic. Keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars..."

Cheers, Dinds! Enjoy, all!

Tracks #26 and #27, Volume 1

Stuck in my office one too many times again this week. GOD, I need a Bueller Day!!! I'm thinkin' waaay too much these days (and nights). Well, gotta help keep this economy rollin'.

Hence--- here's a 2fer.

This first video just cracks me up as it totally relates to my work (and unfortunately, my life lately) and all this code monkey stuff I work on. I saw this video filmed @ South Park, here in SF; my fellow dev geeks were all just crackin' up. FTITK, this was actually Guy Kawasaki's walk-up theme @ the SFDC Developers Conference in 2007. Sorry if you can't totally relate. I'm sharing this but it is my bully pulpit, remember? 'Yahnowhutahmsayin!

Try not to snooze. It'll warm up to you.

This next one is for my '85 Batch Brothers and Sisters out there; celebrating 25 years next year, 2010. 1985. My-- my-- my; we've come a long way. My hats off--- to everyone; for still being around, thriving and surviving. For what lies ahead... Cheers!

It's also my homage to John Hughes, who passed away exactly one week ago today. Hughes made some of the most successful films of the 1980's such as Ferris Bueller's Day Off; Weird Science; The Breakfast Club; Sixteen Candles and Pretty in Pink.

Where the heck did the time go? Bueller?... Bueller?... Anyone? ... Bueller?... Anyone?

Have a great weekend everyone! 'See you at the next stop----
